Technical English

The module will provide the linguistic competences necessary for the student to ultimately listen, read, write and think critically in English. Students will learn specialist terms alongside other basic English, and grammatical rules will be regularly practised and summarised to reinforce the use of the English language and discourage code-switching. The topics presented will reflect the latest developments in technology taken from popular literature and which are relevant to students’ applications.
