Internet and Digital Technology

This module focuses on providing students with a broad understanding of what the internet is, its history, and how it works. Students will learn what constitutes the world wide web and gain an understanding of its facilities, applications, and tools. Tangible skills, such as e-mail, web browsing, and file transfer will also be taught. Students will also be introduced to the basics of web development. Students will learn about Microsoft tools, Word and PowerPoint. In addition, students will be exposed to the evolution of Artificial Intelligence and its role in modern computer science.
