ICT Fundamentals

This foundation course is designed to help students understand the basic principles of problem-solving, digital devices, and software development, and to take a hands-on approach to computing. Topics covered include, among others, computational thinking, algorithms, data structures, language translators, interpreters and compilers, IT project management methodologies, computer networks, cloud computing, and future directions in Computer Science and Information Technology. After completing the module, students will be equipped to take on a variety of ICT-related tasks to be applied in a variety of daily settings.
