Academic skills

This module focuses on providing students with the language, writing, and grammar skills necessary to succeed in the academic environment. Students will learn foundational skills – such as correct sentence structure, effective note taking, editing, and reading comprehension – while practicing applications of effective study habits.  In addition, this module will provide students with a thorough grounding in the following key academic skills: note-taking, referencing, and academic integrity.
